On August 30, 2008, I hit my one-year anniversary for my business. It has been a year of ups and downs, as you might expect with a brand new business. Even so, it has been a great year. I have met and helped a lot of interesting, nice and intelligent people, trying to make their way in America. I hope they have enjoyed meeting me as much as I have enjoyed working with them. I hope the coming year is even bigger and better but I never intend to lose touch with the one-to-one interaction, and the customer care, which sets my service apart. Immigration, in any category, is a slow process but I am happy to report that after a year, 6 people have their green cards in hand, 2 people have H-1B1s, 3 people have J-1s, one recent client obtained her F-1 visa at the US Embassy after seeking my advice, and many people have more information about what their immigration options might be and what kinds of papers and fees are involved in getting to their goals. Quite a few clients have cases pending (including one B-2 extension and one change to TN-1 status), or cases they are about to file, so continue to check on this blog for the latest news.
At the end of one year, I now have a total of 63 clients, including a university, a college, and an elementary school. At the end of my first year, I have 60 individual clients that come from 33 different countries in the following parts of the world:
Africa: 4
Asia: 7
Canada: 1
Europe: 16
Latin America: 21
Middle East: 1
Oceania: 3
Southeast Asia: 7
If you are one of these clients and you've been happy with my work, please tell a friend! If you are new to this blog and want to know more, please send me an email and I will be happy to chat with you about your issue, to see if I can help (immigrationadvisor@gmail.com). I appreciate the business of
all the clients in this past year and I look forward to meeting and helping new people in the year to come. Thank you all!
